Raspberry Dressing and Maple Mousse Bilini's

 

MOUSSE:

  • 1 cup whipping cream
  • 3 Tbsp. Feige's Gourmet Raspberry Dressing
  • 2 Tbsp. Maple syrup
  • Whip cream until very firm, add rest of ingredients and refridgerate for several hours or overnight.

 

BILINI'S:

  • 1 cup flour
  • 1/3 cup whole wheat flour
  • 1 tsp. baking powder
  • 1/2 tsp. baking soda
  • 1/2 tsp. salt
  • 1 egg
  • 1 1/2 cups buttermilk
  • 3 tbsp. maple syrup
  • Mix all dry ingredients together, and in a seperate bowl mix wet ingredients, stir well. Stir wet ingredients into dry ingredients, let stand for 20 minutes.  Cook on medium heat in non-stick pan for approximately 1 minutes per side or until golden brown.  Top bilini's with mousse and garnish with fresh raspberry's and icing sugar.
